Several years ago I signed up for a Netflix account and discovered the wonders of online video rentals. When video game rental sites started popping up I was quick to give one a try. What I found, unfortunately, was a mixed bag.

The first site I tried, Gamefly, had an average turn around of about two weeks. That meant it took roughly one week for them to get a game and another for me to receive the replacement. For an avid gamer with a frequent thirst for something new I was more than disappointed. When they suddenly stopped receiving any of the games returned to them I found myself forced to cancel. Of the last eight games I sent back to them Gamefly claimed they only received three.

While out hunting for a Nintendo Wii just before Christmas I stumbled upon a subscription card for GamezNFlix, a site offering rentals on both video games AND movies. The speed at which I consume games is pretty alarming. Generally I can play through a game in about a week and, with a few notable exceptions, am quick to move on to the next challenge. Renting games, therefore, is much more attractive than buying them.

Seeing as how it's now April and you're reading this article I'm happy to say that GamezNFlix has been a terrific find. With a turn around time of roughly two days I've found myself a great source of new games that seems endless. While they don't carry DS or PSP titles their selection of console titles is vast.

If you're mostly interested in newly released films you'll also find that they have a great selection of films as well. Though I'm not ready to give up my Netflix subscription it's nice ot know that GamezNFlix is capable of filling that need. If you're at all interested in finding an online source of video game rentals I highly recommend checking out GamezNFlix. With subscription plans starting at around $9 you can easily save some significant money if you're a frequent renter.

Give GamezNFlix a try and feel free to share your experiences.
