Big news today for Gears Of War fans looking to expand on their Gears experience. Early tomorrow Gears of War fans who have access to the XBox Live Marketplace will gain access to the "Annex" expansion pack that was previously only available to paying customers. Besides making the Annex gametype free eight new achievements (totalling 250 points) have been announced for the "Annex" gametype and the new "Hidden Fronts" Map Pack.
The "Hidden Fronts" Map Pack will be selling for 800 points.
Along with the new content there have also been some interesting bug fixes and gameplay fixes. If you've been thinking about getting back to Gears of War, as I have, now might be a good time.

- Tweaked up the amount of damage done by the Lancer Assault Rifle in multiplayer
