I barely - and by barely I mean don't - remember Myst.

I certainly played it and I may have even beaten the first game, but I remember very little about it.

That's why I'm kinda hyped for the return of the original Myst for the DS. While the trailer below presents the game in wide screen (which obviously won't be the format when the game hits the DS) it showcases how much of the game made the transition as well as what the two screens will be used for. Amazon currently has the game listed for $29.99 but I'm hoping to see it drop to a more bargain price. $19.99 seems more reasonable for a game that's really more of a nostalgia piece.

When I first heard about Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles on the DS I think I said what most gamers did ... "Huh?"

How do you take a game that existed at the level of Assassin's Creed and turn it into a handheld game? On the DS no less!

Over time we've seen a few pictures as well as some box-art but now it's time to check out some gameplay footage. When I first saw this I instantly thought about how underwhelming it was - then I remembered it was a DS game. Truth be told I'm a bit impressed thinking about this on the two DS screens - the question remains though ... is it any good?

I've yet to see a review but I'll be sure to share one if it turns up. Take a peak at the video yourself and let me know what you think.

I would love to become a full time games journalist just for the chance to get more time to try out so many of the titles I just can't seem to get around to. Perfect example? the Pheonix Wright games.

The games certainly look interesting - I'm just not sure they're up my alley.

The newest entry into the series is Appollo Justice: Ace Attorney and based on the trailer (courtesy of FileFront) it's another interesting game that I hope to get around to.

So - has anyone out there gotten around to these titles? What have you thought of them - worth the investment or do I need to find someone who rents DS carts?

OK so there are a ton of blogs talking about this right now and I'd be remiss not to at least share it. Is there some type of Super Mario Galaxy DS?

To be honest I'm surprised right now that the most hyped DS / Wii connection only exists with Geometry Wars: Galaxies - that's an interesting coincidence too though - Super Mario: Galaxy, Geometry Wars: Galaxies ...

I know it sounds strange but it looks like Halo for the DS was a reality and Matt Casamassina, from IGN, has been vindicated. I know that it's hard to imagine seeing a Microsoft title on a Nintendo Console but apparently it almost happened.
