Earlier this week we mentioned 2dboy and their current "7-day demo" Robot and the Cities that Built Him (which is a flash game available for freeplay right now on the 2dboy site.) In that post we mentioned the upcoming game World of Goo which is slated for release on both the PC and the Nintendo Wii.
In the following video you can see the game in action and I'm sure you'll feel the same way I do. The frenetic fast paced gameplay is both attractive and inviting. When I first saw it I was reminded of games like Loco Roco and Patapon which it obviously shares some visual styles with.
The game definitely has a sense of humor and based on what you see here it looks like it'll be an absolutely great Wii title Check it out and don't tell me you think the same thing!
World of Goo was originally slated for a release of early February but it has been pushed back to "Coming soon" according to the official page. Hopefully we get to see more of this title sooner rather than later.

I'm not usually one to go for the cheap accessories on Amazon but today they've got a deal on something I've been wanting for awhile. If you've got your Wii hooked upto an HD TV you probably know by now that it doesn't look nearly as good as most of the other consoles. Upgrading to Component Cables is the best way to solve this but when they run between $25 and $50 the investment can hurt a bit.
I'm utterly shocked at this one.
Admittedly I never got a chance to play the original Sega Saturn game Nights into Dreams. While I'm familiar with the game I honestly don't know much about the gameplay or the story - I do know that
